3 am - now what to eat ...

-
Last night I woke up in the middle of the night - looking for a snack.
There they were, just waiting for me to bring them out - delectable scones.
And these tiny morsels were just what hit the spot at three am.

Spring Beauty

I have been blessed with the opportunity to witness a mute swan couple build their family.

Their eggs were laid in April, and they hatched at the end of May. I took time out of my busy schedule to visit each day and aside from photographing their antics and young nature, I also stook there, my heart filled with the simple joy of having the chance to see this special part of nature unfold before my very own eyes. It has since been five weeks since the eggs were hatched. My, they are growing up to be such beautiful magestic creatures.

Hot & Humid

The part of the world I live in, has had their first heatwave of the year.

Temperatures of 35C at least, for three days in a row. The Humidex was up to 43C.

I have enjoyed quiet mornings by the waterfront, and watching the sun set off my balcony.

I have not been out shooting during the day (too hot!) and look forward to a break in the heat.
